My Experience with Airpura
I have consulted on Airpura solutions since 2009 so I have a lot of experience with their products and I’ve worked with many Airpura customers through the years.
I currently own two Airpura V414 air purifiers, myself. One White and one Champagne Mist color.
Airpura ships their units to US customers from a warehouse located in NY.
Airpura Filters – HEPA vs Super HEPA
They offer True HEPA Filters (H13). 99.97% filtration at .3 microns.
And they also offer Super HEPA Filters (H14). Airpura’s Super HEPA (H14) filters capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 µm, and even ultrafine particles down to 0.003 µm, as well.
Of Note: 85% of my Airpura customers order the Super HEPA option.
Activated Carbon in Airpura Purifiers
Their solutions possess a lot of quality carbon.
Airpura offers models with 8 lbs., 18 lbs., or 26 lbs. of activated carbon for VOC and odor removal.
And they can provide a lot of customization options to the product line, as well.
The combination of high-level Particle and VOC/Chemical/Odor filtration, enables Airpura to offer some of the best performing and most complete solutions on the market.
Build Quality and Design
The Airpura air purifiers are made of steel and I would consider them to be of “Light Industrial” quality. Multiple customers have mentioned that the units appear to be somewhat “industrial” to them.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
The Airpura units don’t have a bunch of additional bells and whistles nor Smart Features/Apps., nor Air Quality Sensors. I am not a fan of most of the the Smart features on air purifiers. And I think most Air Quality Sensors are not consistently accurate in the first place. So, I don’t currently view either of these additional features as being very beneficial. The Airpura units are very simple to operate as they focus all of their attention and resources solely on manufacturing superior filtering air purifiers.
